Raipur: Congress held a press conference at Rajiv Bhawan regarding the CBI raid in the Mahadev gaming App case. During this, former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, PCC Chief Deepak Baij and Leader of Opposition Dr. Charandas Mahant fiercely targeted the central government and BJP. AICC General Secretary Bhupesh Baghel said that CBI raids were conducted at more than 50 places across the country. This can be seen as “the thief scolding the police”.
– More than 200 arrests were made, 2000 bank accounts were seized, hundreds of electronic gadgets were confiscated.
– We also brought a bill in the Assembly to stop gambling-satta.
– Our government took the most action against this illegal business.
– But after the change of government, the direction of the case was changed.
Questions on CBI and ED action
Bhupesh Baghel said that the main operators of Mahadev Satta App are Ravi Uppal and Saurabh Chandrakar sitting in Dubai. Our government had written a letter to the Center for action against them, but no action was taken.
He alleged that the BJP government is taking “protection money” from the satta mafia. No concrete action has been taken in the last one year, which clearly shows that the Modi government is protecting them.
Demand for questioning Pradeep Mishra
Taking the name of storyteller Pradeep Mishra, Bhupesh Baghel said that he should also be brought under the purview of questioning in this case, because he had met Ravi Uppal in Dubai.
