Crime happened in excitement… Bajrang Punia placed his shoe on the tricolour poster
There has been a controversy over Indian wrestler Bajrang Punia standing on a poster of the tricolor. This incident happened on 17 August at Delhi airport. Vinesh Phogat was being given a grand welcome on her return from the Paris Olympics. Bajrang, who won a medal for India in the Tokyo Olympics, was also present at the airport to welcome Vinesh.
During the welcome of Vinesh Phogat, Bajrang stood on the tricolor poster. He was standing on the bonnet of the car wearing shoes. Bajrang was handling the crowd and the media from there. The tricolor poster was stuck on the bonnet itself. Bajrang put his foot on it. The video of this incident has gone viral on social media. People are accusing Bajrang of insulting the tricolor.
