CRPF launches biggest operation of 2025; three Naxals killed

A joint operation by the CRPF and Chhattisgarh police along the Chhattisgarh-Telangana border has resulted in the killing of three female Naxalites. Launched on Monday, the extensive offensive involves nearly 5,000 troops and advanced technology to neutralize Maoist leader Hidma.

Raipur: The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) along with Chhattisgarh police has killed three female Naxalites along the state’s border with Telangana in the biggest offensive launched this year to neutralize most-wanted Maoist Hidma, officials said on Thursday April 24 ,2025 . The operation launched from the Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh to Karregutta hills in Mulugu district across the border in Telangana has clocked over 60 hours after it was launched on Monday April 21, 2025 with close to 5,000 troops apart from backup units.
