New Delhi : Delhi Chief Minister Atishi has appealed to the people for help to contest the assembly elections. She said that we need crowd funding to contest the elections. I need Rs 40 lakh to contest the elections. She says that people can help us from Rs 100 to Rs 1000. Which will help us contest the elections. Atishi appealed to the people and said that the people of Delhi have supported AAP, have donated to us to contest the elections. Small contributions from people have helped us contest and win the elections.

The poorest people of Delhi have supported us with the smallest amount of Rs 10 to Rs 100. People from all over the country have donated to us.

Kejriwal government worked for people: CM

He also said that AAP’s honest politics was positive that we did not ask for money from corporates or capitalists. The biggest problem is that candidates and parties take funds from big leaders and then work for them and get paid in the form of contracts. Kejriwal government worked for the common people because they help us fight. If we had taken money from big leaders, we would not have been able to provide free water, electricity, mohalla clinics and education

‘It is not a big deal to raise funds for CM’

The Delhi CM said that I want ample funding to contest the elections. I need Rs 40 lakh to contest the elections and I appeal to the people that they can give us any amount from Rs 100 to Rs 1000 which will help us contest the elections. It is not a big deal for a CM to raise such a small amount through wrong means. If we collect it through wrong means then it will not take even a day, but if the money is taken through corrupt practices then the same infrastructure will collapse.
