Demand to make Rajapur of Chitrakoot an international tourist center
Lucknow: People’s representatives of Bundelkhand’s aspiring district Chitrakoot reached Lucknow today and met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. They expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for making District Panchayat President Ashok Jatav a member of the Uttar Pradesh State Road Fund Management Committee.
The people’s representatives have demanded from CM Yogi to develop Chitrakoot, the place of penance of Lord Shri Ram, and Rajapur, the birthplace of Goswami Tulsidas ji, the author of Ramcharit Manas, as international tourist centers. District Cooperative Bank Chairman Pankaj Agarwal and Chitrakoot Nagar Palika President Narendra Gupta were present in the meeting.
