Deputy CM Vijay Sharma’s statement on Devendra Yadav’s arrest, says- ‘He was called for questioning several times but he did not come’

After the high-voltage political drama that lasted all day on Saturday on August 17 in the Balodabazar violence case of Chhattisgarh, the police have arrested Bhilai Nagar MLA Devendra Yadav. At the same time, after his arrest, the statement of Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma has come to the fore. Vijay Sharma said in his statement that, MLA Devendra Yadav had spoken about saving the Constitution by carrying a white flag. The police had called him for questioning several times, but he did not come, so he got arrested and being questioned.

He said in his statement that, in the Balodabazar incident, the people of Satnami community have not carried out the incident but anti-social elements. Along with this, he said that, whoever is guilty in this incident, strict action will be taken against him. Devendra Yadav has resorted to a white flag during the arrest. He is trying to connect a particular community with the arrest. Action has not been taken with any kind of malice. I appeal to everyone to maintain peace in the state.

He said in his statement that in the Balodabazar incident, the people of Satnami community and not anti-social elements have carried out the incident. Along with this, he said that strict action will be taken against whoever is found guilty in this incident. Devendra Yadav has resorted to a white flag during the arrest. He is trying to link a particular community with the arrest. The action has not been taken with any kind of malice. I appeal to everyone to maintain peace in the state.

After his arrest, MLA Devendra Yadav has said that the BJP government is scared. That is why the BJP government has taken this action. We will fight the legal battle. Meanwhile, a statement from state president Deepak Baij has also come out. Regarding the arrest of MLA Devendra Yadav, he said that the government has deliberately made the arrest out of a revenge so that the truth of the Balodabazar incident can be hidden. The BJP government can hide its weakness.
