Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has kept the departments of General Administration, Services, Finance, Revenue, Women and Child Welfare, Land and Building, Public Relations, Vigilance and Administrative Reforms with herself. The responsibility of the Home Department has been given to Ashish Sood, while the responsibility of the Health Department has been handed over to Dr. Pankaj Kumar Singh.
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has allocated portfolios to all the 6 cabinet ministers who took oath with her. Rekha Gupta has kept the departments of General Administration Services, Finance, Revenue, Women and Child Welfare, Land and Building, Public Relations, Vigilance and Administrative Reforms with herself.
Pravesh Verma has been given the responsibility of Public Works Department, Legislative Affairs, Irrigation, Flood Control, Water, Gurudwara Elections.
Ashish Sood has been given the responsibility of Home, Electricity, Urban Development, Education, Higher Education, Technical Education, Training Department.
Manjinder Singh Sirsa has been given the responsibility of Industry, Food and Civil Supplies, Forest and Environment and Planning Department.
Ravindra Singh Indraj will handle the responsibility of Social Justice and ST Welfare, Cooperation Department.
Kapil Mishra will handle the responsibility of Law and Justice, Labor and Employment, Development, Art and Culture, Language and Tourism Department.
Pankaj Kumar Singh will handle the responsibility of Health, Transport, Information Technology Department. Let us tell you that Pankaj Singh himself is a doctor by profession.
Rekha Gupta took oath as the Chief Minister of Delhi in a grand ceremony held at Ramlila Maidan on 20 February. Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena administered the oath of office and secrecy to her. Rekha Gupta, who became MLA for the first time from Shalimar Bagh, is the fourth woman Chief Minister of Delhi after BJP’s Sushma Swaraj, Congress’ Sheila Dixit and Aam Aadmi Party’s Atishi. Along with Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, Pravesh Verma, Ashish Sood, Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Ravinder Indraj Singh Kapil Mishra and Pankaj Kumar Singh took oath as ministers.
