Bilaspur: Police has arrested three accused who were connecting the power line that was cut for not paying the outstanding electricity bill. After the action taken on the court’s order, there is panic among the electricity thieves. To resolve the cases of outstanding electricity bills and power cut, the electricity department had presented the case in the Lok Adalat. The electricity department has so far presented about five hundred cases in the Lok Adalat and Special Court.
The court took strict action against the accused who did not respond to the notices served to them to resolve the presented case and notices were served through police officials .
In connection Chhattisgarh Police has arrested three defaulters who did not pay the electricity bill and did not appear in the court even after the notices were sent from the police station. On the court’s order, police has arrested Bhau Yadav resident Ameri, Baldev Prasad Suryavanshi resident village Pand. Sipat police arrested Ramnath resident Adrali on the basis of complaint. Although afterwards all three accused have been released on bail.
