Green Army on Tuesday April 22 , 2025 on its foundation day reiterated its unwavering resolve towards nature conservation and recalled its glorious journey of the last eight years. Renowned entrepreneur Rajesh Agarwal was present as the chief guest.

Raipur : The founder and state president of the organisation, CA Amitabh Dubey said that the eight-year journey of Green Army is now the time to move beyond childhood and move towards concrete and effective work. Outlining the upcoming goals of the organisation, he spoke about focusing especially on plastic-free society and water conservation. Amitabh Dubey expressed deep concern over the current pathological condition of Gajraj Dam, Maharaj Dam and other ponds. He praised the commendable work being done by Devpuri Zone and DDU Nagar Zone , describing Rajesh Agarwal as a management guru and said that his valuable guidance is very important .

Green Army’s patron and famous entrepreneur Rajesh Agarwal highlighted the importance of environmental conservation and said that air and water are the most essential requirements for life. He expressed concern over its indiscriminate wastage by humans despite three-fourths of water on the earth. Agarwal said that responsibility is more important than the post.

Raipur District President Gurdeep Tuteja said that the responsibility of environmental protection has increased even more with time. He reiterated his resolve to live up to the trust of the city residents and work with more dedication than before. In the same sequence, he appointed Mrs. Bharti Srivastava as the President of the Women’s Wing, which shows her active role in women empowerment and environmental protection.

Giving detailed information about the Plastic Mukti Abhiyan, White Wing Incharge Ms. Nidhi Agarwal said that a target has been set to make 250 buildings of the city plastic free, for which applications, photos and awareness banners will be put up in the buildings. She highlighted 16 important points related to plastic liberation, which show the comprehensiveness and seriousness of this campaign.

In the program, Ratri Lahari, Hardeep Kaur as well as the children of Gurukul Mahila Mahavidyalaya gave the message of environmental protection through their captivating film songs, which deeply impressed all the people present. These presentations spread awareness about the environment along with entertainment.

The entire program was efficiently conducted by Target, while Shashikant Yadu presented detailed information about the remarkable work done by Green Army in the last eight years through a digital slide show. He also informed that Mayor . Meenal Chaubey is actively supporting all the campaigns of Green Army through the Municipal Corporation and the cleanliness campaign will continue in Raipur city.
This foundation day celebration of Green Army not only reminds us of the glorious past of the organisation, but also communicates a strong resolve and inspiration for the future. This event was an important message and a call to work unitedly for all those dedicated to nature conservation.
Many dignitaries including Mohan Valyani, PK Sahu, Ashish Sharma, Monica Bagrecha, Bharti Srivastava, Vineet Sharma and Ravindra Singh were present on yhe occasion.
