Hareli Festival at Pragati College , Choubey Colony Raipur : A unique glimpse of tradition and Education!

Hareli Tihar, a major folk festival associated with the cultural soul and agricultural tradition of Chhattisgarh, is being celebrated with great pomp at Pragati College , Choubey Colony Raipur-Photo Credit -Pragati College

In the tradition of Chhattisgarh, “Hareli” means Hariyali ( greenery ) is a festival to pay homage to the connection between man and the nature. When Hareli arrives, the fields and barns, villages and cities of Chhattisgarh, plows and oxen, children-youth-women all get filled with the joy of this festival. 

Raipur : On the auspicious occasion of Hareli festival associated with the rich folk culture and agricultural tradition of Chhattisgarh, a program was organised by the Staff and students together with traditional gaiety and reverence at Pragati College , Choubey Colony Capital Raipur .
