In her political rivalry with former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, Maryam Nawaz has accepted the truth that India had caused massive destruction in Pakistan during Operation Sindoor. Pakistan’s Punjab province Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said that Imran Khan’s party had caused more damage by rebelling and attacking the army on 9 May 2023 than the damage caused by India on 6 and 7 May, 2025 . Earlier, Maryam’s uncle, i.e. Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif had also admitted that India had caused destruction with missiles on many airbases of Pakistan including Noor Khan.

A video of Shahbaz Sharif went viral on social media. In the video, he can be heard saying that Sepoy Salahhar General Asim Munir told me on a secure phone that Prime Minister Sahib, India has just launched its ballistic missiles, one of which has fallen on the Noorkhan airbase and some have also fallen in other areas… Our Air Force used indigenous technology to protect our country and they also used modern gadgets and technology on Chinese fighter planes.’

Let us tell you that on April 22,2025 there was a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, in which 26 tourists were killed after asking their religion, after which India retaliated. Indian security forces carried out Operation Sindoor on the night of 6-7 May. Under this operation, Indian forces carried out air strikes on 9 terrorist hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK). This action was taken at around 1:30 pm and its aim was to destroy the launchpads and weapons depots of terrorists.

Pakistan, enraged by this action, also tried to target several Indian military bases and residential areas. However, India’s strong air defense system foiled the plans of the neighboring country. On the other hand, Indian security forces also gave a befitting reply to Pakistan’s audacity and destroyed several terrorist launch pads and Pakistani airbases.
