Indigo’s plane going from Kochi to Delhi had received a bomb threat

Earlier on June 17, Indigo’s flight 6E-2706 coming from Kochi, Kerala to Delhi had to make an emergency landing in Nagpur. This step was taken as a precaution after the plane received a bomb threat. Kochi International Airport Limited (CIAL) had said that on Tuesday, IndiGo’s flight (6E-1272) which arrived here from Muscat and left for Delhi (6E-2706) had received a bomb threat. The threat was received on its official email ID about the IndiGo flight, which left for Delhi at 9.31 am with 157 passengers and six crew members. Its landing time in Delhi was 12.35 pm. Meanwhile, after being in the air for two hours and 43 minutes, the plane was landed in Nagpur at 11.54 am.

Turbulence also occurred in Goa-Lucknow IndiGo flight

Earlier, the airline had said in a statement on Tuesday that the IndiGo flight from Goa to Lucknow experienced turbulence mid-air on Monday due to adverse weather, but the crew landed the plane safely. The airline said without giving any further details that flight 6E 6811 landed safely in Lucknow. The airline said, ‘On June 16, IndiGo flight 6E 6811 from North Goa to Lucknow experienced some turbulence due to active monsoon weather conditions in western India. Its pilots and cabin crew, trained to deal with such situations, followed established protocols to ensure the safety of customers.’
