Monalisa and Farman had a civil marriage in Kerala, then tied the knot according to Hindu rituals at the Arumanoor Nainar Temple in Thiruvananthapuram. Farman applied the vermillion to Monalisa’s forehead under police protection. Monalisa’s interfaith marriage has surprised everyone. Their wedding photos are going viral on the internet. In these, Monalisa is seen wearing a red saree, vermilion in her hairline, and a garland around her neck. Meanwhile, rumors have surfaced that Monalisa is a minor, claiming she is under 18.

Speaking to the media after the wedding, Farman showed his marriage certificate and stated that Monalisa is an adult. He said, “There are many reports claiming that Monalisa is not mature and is a child, but that’s not true. Let me tell you, Monalisa is an adult. She is over 18. Her date of birth is written in the marriage certificate. She is over 18. Proof of this can be found in the marriage certificate and her Aadhaar card.”
Speaking to the media, Monalisa expressed her happiness after marriage. She is happy. Her husband said he will live in Kerala for the time being. If Monalisa likes living there, they will settle there. According to him, Monalisa’s father was against this relationship, so they came to Kerala and got married in a temple. She thanked the people of Kerala for their support. Monalisa said, “I liked Kerala. The people here are very nice.”
How did the love story begin?
Monalisa’s husband is also an actor by profession. Farman explained that we have been in love for six months, but he is like 60 years old. That’s why we both got married.” Narrating his love story, Farman said, “We were working together on a film. That’s when we started talking. Monalisa proposed to me. I initially refused, but Monalisa said, ‘We have to make this a relationship. I like you.’ Then we fell in love and decided to get married.”
