Raipur: To commemorate the completion of two years of the Chhattisgarh government under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, a Janadesh Parab (Mandate Festival) is being organised in Janjgir on December 22nd. At the Janadesh Parab, information about the achievements of the Chhattisgarh government over the past two years and the decisions taken for the integrated development of the state will be presented to the public. Eligible beneficiaries of welfare schemes will also be provided with benefits.
On the occasion of the Janadesh Parab, Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare, J.P. Nadda, will address a massive public meeting being held at the Police Lines in Janjgir. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai will preside over the program.
Renowned folk artist and Padma Shri awardee Anuj Sharma and other artists will present cultural programs. In addition, a development exhibition based on the achievements of various departments over the past two years will also be organised at the venue.
Stalls of various departments, including the Chhattisgarh State Electricity Board, Agriculture Department, School Education, Women and Child Development, Water Resources, Fisheries, and Cooperative Department, are being set up at the exhibition.
Union Minister of State Tokhan Sahu, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao, and Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma will be the special guests of honor at the program. Agriculture Minister Ramvichar Netam, Food Minister Dayaldas Baghel, Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap, Industries Minister Lakhan Lal Dewangan, Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Finance Minister O.P. Chaudhary, Women and Child Development Minister Lakshmi Rajwade, Revenue Minister Tankram Verma, School Education Minister Gajendra Yadav, Scheduled Caste Development Minister Guru Khushwant Saheb, Culture and Tourism Minister Rajesh Agarwal, Lok Sabha MP . The Janadesh Parv (People’s Mandate Festival) will showcase the government’s two years of continuous service and development through attractive exhibitions set up by various departments. The exhibition will provide information to the general public about schemes such as the PM Suryaghar Yojana (PM Solar Home Scheme). Similarly, information will be provided on Kisan Samman Nidhi (Farmer’s Honor Fund), beneficiary-oriented schemes, and modern agricultural techniques, enabling farmers to directly understand the benefits and processes. The concept of “Smart School – Empowered Students – Bright Future” will be highlighted through quality and technology-based education, showcasing digital and innovative education, ICT labs, smart classrooms, and schemes like PM e-Vidya.
In addition, the exhibition will feature displays on women’s empowerment, the Mahtari Vandan Yojana (Mother’s Respect Scheme), nutrition campaigns and child welfare schemes, irrigation projects and water management, fisheries production, employment and self-employment schemes, and a model explaining the entire process of paddy procurement at minimum support price. Various departments will also set up stalls to provide information about their respective schemes.
