Justin Trudeau: Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has been facing discontent within the party for quite some time now. Many leaders of the Liberal Party are said to be unhappy with many of Justin Trudeau’s decisions.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau may soon resign from the post of leader of the Liberal Party. Canadian newspaper The Globe and Mail has claimed this in its reports on Sunday January 5, 2025 . According to the report, Justin Trudeau may leave the post within the next one or two days. Actually, Trudeau’s popularity has declined drastically in recent times and he is also facing opposition within the party. Various surveys have claimed that the Conservative Party led by Pierre Poilievre may come to power in the upcoming elections. According to media reports, it is not yet decided when Trudeau will resign, but it is believed that Trudeau may leave his post before the national caucus meeting to be held on Wednesday.

Ally party NDP also left the party

According to media reports, Justice Trudeau is also being considered to be removed from the post of leader of the ruling Liberal Party. It is not clear yet whether Trudeau will leave the post immediately after resignation or will remain in the post till the appointment of a new leader. Justin Trudeau has been in power in Canada for the past decade, but his popularity has declined drastically in the recent past. Trudeau’s ally party and the Jagmeet Singh-led NDP recently withdrew their support from the Trudeau government. A recent survey claimed that 73 percent of Canadian citizens want Trudeau to resign as Prime Minister and leader of the Liberal Party. These include 43 percent of Liberal voters.

Canadians are angry with Trudeau for these reasons

There are many reasons for the decline in the popularity of Justin Trudeau’s government in Canada. The main reasons include the economy, the tremendous rise in house prices in Canada, the immigration issue, etc. Inflation in Canada had increased to 8 percent after the Corona epidemic. However, at present it is below two percent. Unemployment is also a big issue in Canada, which is currently around six percent. The Trudeau government’s carbon tax program is also being criticized by the opposition.

Expensive houses are a big problem in Canada. Buying a house in most of the big cities of Canada has become out of the budget of common people. This problem has been there for a long time and the government has failed to control it. This is also a big reason why people are deeply angry with the Trudeau government.

Immigration is also a big issue in Canada. However, the Trudeau government has recently made new policies regarding immigration, so that the number of immigrants can be controlled. However, people’s anger has not subsided yet. Due to the increasing number of immigrants, there has been a lot of pressure on Canada’s health system and other services. Many Canadian citizens are also angry about the growing influence of Khalistanis in Canada. Recently, Canada’s Deputy PM and Finance Minister also resigned, after which the pressure on Trudeau to resign has also increased.
