Arvind Kejriwal and VK Saxena
Following the order of Delhi LG VK Saxena, the ACB team has left for the homes of AAP leaders Arvind Kejriwal, Sanjay Singh and Mukesh Ahlawat.
New Delhi : There is a big stir in the politics of the national capital Delhi. Investigation has been ordered on the claims of AAP leaders that they received calls from BJP and were offered 15 crores. After the order of Delhi LG VK Saxena, ACB teams have been sent to the houses of AAP leaders Arvind Kejriwal, Sanjay Singh and Mukesh Ahlawat. According to the information, the ACB team has reached the house of AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal.
According to sources closest to Kejriwal, the Anti Corruption Branch team has reached Kejriwal’s house without any prior notice and is sitting with Kejriwal’s legal team. At the same time, Sanjay Singh’s statement is being recorded in the ACB office. Let us tell you that ACB has formed a total of 3 teams.
AAP Legal Cell Chief Sanjeev Nasiyar said, “The ACB team does not have any kind of notice. Ever since he has come, he has been continuously talking to someone on the phone.”
LG has said that a thorough investigation should be conducted through Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) to bring out the truth of this matter.
BJP leader had demanded investigation
Delhi BJP General Secretary Vishnu Mittal wrote a letter to Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena and requested him to direct Anti Corruption Bureau and any other investigating agency to register FIR and investigate the allegations of Arvind Kejriwal and Sanjay Singh offering bribe of Rs 15 crore to 7 sitting MLAs of AAP.
We are going to the ACB office ourselves’
AAP leader Sanjay Singh said, “I have come with my lawyer to lodge a complaint. BJP is involved in horse-trading of MLAs. They have offered Rs 15 crore each to our MLAs and ministers. I have come to the ACB office to lodge a complaint against the BJP.”
Raising questions, Sanjay Singh said, was the ACB waiting for BJP’s complaint? When we held a press conference, why was no action taken after that? So far more than 16 people have been contacted, we have released the number of one. If the ACB takes action on this, we will give more information.
BJP has started Operation Lotus…’
A day after voting in the Delhi Assembly elections, on Thursday, Aam Aadmi Party’s Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh has alleged that 7 AAP MLAs have received calls and have been offered Rs 15 crore. The AAP leader claimed that BJP has started its Operation Lotus in Delhi. He said that in the coming time we will also share names and evidence.
Sanjay Singh said, ‘Seven MLAs (of AAP) have received calls from BJP, who have offered them Rs 15 crore to leave Aam Aadmi Party and join BJP… We have asked the MLAs to record such audio calls and complain about it. If anyone meets them, make a video of it with a hidden camera… BJP has accepted its defeat even before the counting of votes and like the rest of the country, BJP has started the politics of breaking parties in Delhi too.’
Leave AAP and come here–Join BJP
Apart from Sanjay Singh, Aam Aadmi Party leader Mukesh Ahlawat also accused of being offered a job over a call. Mukesh Ahlawat said in a social media post, “I will die, I will be cut off but I will never leave Arvind Kejriwal. I got a call from this number. He said that his government is being formed, he will make you a minister and will also give you 15 crores, leave ‘AAP’ and come here.”
He further wrote, “I want to tell them that the respect that Kejriwal and Aam Aadmi Party have given me, I will never leave my party till my death.
