Bodies of 25 dead identified: Mahakumbh DIG Vaibhav Krishna
Information has been shared by the administration in the stampede case in the ongoing Mahakumbh in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Giving information, Mahakumbh DIG Vaibhav Krishna said that there was a stampede in the Mahakumbh between 1-2 o’clock in the night. In which 90 people were taken to the hospital. Administration released the death toll in the Mahakumbh stampede case
Mahakumbh Mela area DIG Vaibhav Krishna gave information by holding a press conference. He told that 30 people have died in the stampede in Mahakumbh. 90 people were admitted to the hospital. Railways ran 190 special trains for Mauni Amavasya festival
North Central Railway CPRO Shashikant Tripathi said, ‘After taking bath on Mauni Amavasya, a large number of devotees are coming towards the railway premises. Now slowly the crowd is moving towards the railway station. By noon, a total of more than 80 special trains were operated through about 50 North Central Railway, 13 Northern Railway and 20 Northeast Railway. The railway administration has planned to run 190 special trains today so that people do not face any inconvenience.’
