Basant Panchami Shahi Snan: On the Amrit Snan of Basant Panchami, devotees, saints and Mahamandaleshwars took a holy dip in the confluence and did charity after the bath. A huge crowd of devotees has gathered. Along with Naga ascetics, crores of devotees from the country and abroad also witnessed the third Amrit Snan of Maha Kumbh.
Mahakumbh 2025 Amrit Snan: A huge crowd of devotees has gathered at Triveni Sangam on the Amrit Snan of Vasant Panchami. Along with Naga ascetics, crores of devotees from India and abroad also witnessed the third Amrit Snan of Mahakumbh. The Mahakumbh area has echoed with the sky-piercing proclamation of Har-Har Gange, Bam Bam Bhole and Jai Shri Ram. On the third and last Amrit Snan festival of Mahakumbh, the Akharas took a dip in the Sangam. At 4.30 in the morning, the saints of Mahanirvani first took a bath in Triveni. After this, Panchayati Akhara Shri Niranjani and then Shri Panch Dashnam Juna Akhara took Amrit Snan. There was a huge army of Nagas in Juna Akhara. Kinnar Akhara was also included in Juna Akhara.
Flowers were showered on the devotees taking holy bath at Triveni Sangam. According to the Uttar Pradesh Information Department, more than 62.25 lakh devotees took holy bath till 8 am today. More than 34.97 crore devotees have taken the holy bath till February 2. The last Amrit Snan of Maha Kumbh 2025 is taking place today on the occasion of Vasant Panchami.

Faith, enthusiasm and joy all around for the spring dip
There is a crowd of devotees at Sangam Nose. On the third and last Amrit Snan festival of Maha Kumbh, Vasant Panchami, a crowd of people has gathered to take a holy dip in the Sangam. Be it Lal Marg or Kali Marg or Triveni Marg. The sea of devotion is surging from every side to meet at Sangam. Learning a lesson from the Mauni Amavasya Snan festival accident, this time a safe corridor has been made for the Akharas for Amrit Snan, so that no common devotee can enter that road while the royal processions are passing.

Security arrangements are tight
Kumbh Mela administration has tightened the security arrangements in view of the crowd. A huge crowd of devotees has gathered at the ghats of Ganga including Sangam. The enthusiasm of devotees to take a dip in Sangam on Vasant Panchami in the world’s largest spiritual and cultural gathering is worth seeing.

Faith, enthusiasm and joy everywhere
The roads leading to Sangam are filled with faith, enthusiasm and joy everywhere. Crowds of bathers are continuously arriving at the railway stations. As a precaution in view of the crowd, the fair administration has made tight arrangements. Apart from parking, a large number of devotees have camped in empty spaces and on the tracks.

Jai Ganga Maiya, Har-Har Mahadev and Jai Shri Ram’s loud slogans
Only bathers are seen on the ghats of Sangam spread over a radius of about 12 km. Some are seen moving towards Sangam with a danda-kamandal, some with bundles on the head and bags on the shoulders. All along the way, loud slogans of Jai Ganga Maiya, Har-Har Mahadev and Jai Shri Ram are echoing. Entry of vehicles is prohibited in the fair.

Extra vigilance is being maintained at the entry points, confluences and pontoon bridges of the fair area. Apart from the police and paramilitary forces, Home Guards, NDRF, Civil Defence and UP STF personnel have been deployed.

Sarvarth Siddhi Yoga with Amrit Kaal on Sant Panchami
Many auspicious yogas will be formed for bathing and donation on Vasant Panchami, which are rare in themselves. Ravi Yoga will be from 12:52 pm to 07:08 am on February 3. Along with this, Brahma Muhurta will be from 05:24 am to 06:16 am. Also, Amrit Kaal will be from 08:24 pm to 09:53 pm. Apart from this, Abhijeet Muhurta will be from 12:13 pm to 12:57 pm.

CM Yogi was in the war room since 3 am
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a meeting in the war room of his official residence from 3.30 am to monitor the arrangements for Amrit Snan on the auspicious occasion of Vasant Panchami. He received continuous updates along with the DGP, Principal Secretary Home and officials of the Chief Minister’s Office and gave necessary instructions.

Active monitoring of the Chief Minister in the war room
The Chief Minister took stock of the entire situation in terms of security and arrangements for this important event. He gave strict instructions to the administrative officials that there should not be any kind of inconvenience during the bath and better facilities should be provided to all the devotees.

Instructions to officials
CM Yogi instructed the officials to ensure complete security at the bathing site and make all necessary arrangements for the devotees. Also, he called for increasing the preparedness of the administration on this great festival of faith. The Chief Minister especially focused on security arrangements and traffic management, so that thousands of devotees can get the benefit of bathing in Sangam without any problem.
