Let us inform you that Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi (MVA) includes Congress, Sharad Pawar’s NCP, and Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena (Uddhav faction). However, this alliance has suffered a major setback in the Maharashtra Vidhan Sabha Chunav. The MVA alliance could win only 46 seats in the 288-member assembly. At the same time, the Mahayuti alliance led by BJP performed brilliantly and won 230 seats. The Mahayuti includes BJP, Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena and Ajit Pawar’s NCP.

Discussions are hot in political circles about the post of Chief Minister, and now it remains to be seen who takes over the reins of power in the state after the victory of the Mahayuti.
