Maharashtra’s new CM may be announced by evening, Shinde’s nameplate removed from CM residence
NEWS UPDATE: The new Chief Minister of Maharashtra will be from BJP. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde will submit his resignation to the Governor on Tuesday November 26 . He will be the acting CM until the new CM takes charge. On Monday November 25, 2024 night in New Delhi, a long discussion took place between Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Devendra Fadnavis, Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar. After which this unanimous formula has been decided. According to the information received, BJP will give the responsibility of the post of Chief Minister to Devendra Fadnavis. This announcement can be made by this evening. There will be one Deputy CM each from Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) and NCP (Ajit faction).
