Major accident in Pauri, Uttarakhand, bus falls 100 meters down into a gorge, 5 dead, 15 injured

A bus accident took place on the motor road going from Pauri city of Uttarakhand to Kendriya Vidyalaya. 5 people died in this accident. While 15 people were injured

Pauri – Uttarakhand : A bus accident took place on the motor road going from Pauri city to Kendriya Vidyalaya in Uttarakhand. 5 people died in this accident. While 15 people were injured. According to the information, the bus went out of control. Due to which it fell into a ravine 100 meters below. The accident was so terrible that there was screaming in the bus.

According to the information, mini bus number UK12PB0177, which left for Srinagar from Pauri bus stand via Kendriya Vidyalaya at around 3 o’clock. At the same time, the bus met with an accident near Kothar Bend of Tehsil Pauri around 4 o’clock.

According to preliminary information, there were about 20 people in the bus. Four passengers died on the spot in the accident, while others were injured. All the injured were immediately taken to District Hospital Pauri for first aid, from where the seriously injured have been referred to Sub District Hospital Srinagar. It is being told that as soon as the information of the incident was received, District Magistrate Dr. Ashish Chauhan himself reached the spot and accelerated the rescue work. The District Magistrate has also directed the Transport Department to investigate the causes of the accident. He also ensured that all possible help is given to the victims.
