Mann ki Baat: ‘Only ‘Made in India’ products during festivals…’, PM Modi appeals to the people, ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program completes 10 years

Mann ki Baat: PM Narendra Modi addressed the people of the country today (on the last Sunday of the month) through Mann Ki Baat. This is the 114th episode of PM Modi’s Mann Ki Baat. Addressing the people, PM Modi said, “This month another important campaign has completed 10 years. The success of this campaign includes the contribution of big industries of the country to small shopkeepers. The Prime Minister said that the festive season is about to start. I appeal to the people of the country to buy only ‘Made in India’ products.

Modi further said that today I am very happy to see that the poor, middle class and MSMEs are getting a lot of benefit from this campaign. In this festive season, you must repeat your old resolution again. Whatever you buy, it should be Made in India. Whatever you gift, it should also be Made in India.

Let us inform you that the journey of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ is completing 10 years. 10 years ago, ‘Mann Ki Baat’ started on 3rd October, the day of Vijayadashmi. It is a holy coincidence that this year on 3rd October, when ‘Mann Ki Baat’ completes 10 years, it will be the first day of Navratri.

Prime Minister Modi said that there are many such stages of this long journey of ‘Mann Ki Baat’, which I can never forget. Crores of listeners of this program are our companions in this journey, whose continuous support I got. They provided information from every corner of the country. Its listeners are the real masterminds of this program.

He said that my heart also fills with pride when I read the letters received for ‘Mann Ki Baat’. There are so many talented people in our country, they have so much passion to serve the country and society. They dedicate their entire life to serving people selflessly. I get filled with energy after knowing about them.

PM Modi said that for me this entire process of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ is like visiting a temple and having darshan of God. When I remember every point of ‘Mann Ki Baat’, every incident, every letter, it feels like I am having darshan of the public in the form of God.

Regarding the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam campaign, PM Modi said, “When our collective participation is combined with our determination, it brings amazing results for the entire society. The most recent example of this is ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ – this campaign has been an amazing campaign, such an example of public participation is really very inspiring. People in every corner of the country have done wonders in this campaign started for environmental protection.

PM Modi thanked the media houses and said, “Many media houses also ran campaigns on the issues we raised through Mann Ki Baat. I also thank the print media, they took it to every home. I would also like to thank those YouTubers who did many programs on ‘Mann Ki Baat’.

PM Modi said, “A campaign has been launched to give a new identity to our Santhali language with the help of digital innovation. Santhali is spoken by the people of the Santhali tribal community living in many states of our country. Apart from India, tribal communities speaking Santhali are also present in Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan.
