National Film Awards 2024: ‘I am still intoxicated, it is such a great honour’, said Mithun. After Receiving the Dadasaheb Phalke Award with a plaster on his hand from Honorable President of India

Actor Mithun Chakraborty has reached the ‘National Film Awards’ ceremony held in the national capital Delhi today on Tuesday October 8 to receive the Dadasaheb Phalke Award

After arriving at felicitation ceremony, when he was asked how he feels to be honored woth such a huge award – he said, ‘I am still intoxicated, this is such a great honour. Thanks to God. It seems God has returned all the troubles I faced with interest’.

Don’t stop dreaming

When Mithun was asked what changes have you seen in cinema so far? What are your expectations from today’s generation? On this, he said, ‘Everyone dreams. There are many talented children who are facing financial problems. I would tell them not to lose courage, don’t stop dreaming’. When the actor was asked, ‘You became very famous because of movie called Disco Dancer. What would you say?’ The actor said, ‘Initially this film was flopped because people did not understand the concept but later on when people started understanding and adopting it, then it went on so well that it is going on till now. People are copying it. It is a different thing in foreign countries, India is different .
