Noel Tata appointed the new chairman of Tata Trust, decision taken in the trust meeting…

Noel Tata has been appointed the new chairman of Tata Trust. Tata Trust has declared him as its successor. Noel Tata was unanimously selected in the meeting held in Mumbai today on Friday October 11 .

Who is Noel Tata?
Noel Tata (67 years) is the half brother of Ratan Tata. He has been made the successor of Tata Trust. He is associated with Sir Dorabji Tata Trust, Sir Ratan Tata Trust, JN Tata Endowment and Bai Hirabai JN Tata Navsari Charitable Institution. Apart from this, he is also the Chairman of Tata International Limited, Voltas Limited, and Tata Investment Corporation Limited, and Vice Chairman of Titan Company Limited. Noel Tata is also on the board of Kansai Nerolac Paints Limited and Smith PLC.

What is Tata Trust?

Tata Trusts work in the field of social welfare, education, health, and arts. Their aim is to bring positive change in Indian society.

Noel Tata was first married to Sooni Tata, with whom he has two sons Ratan and Jimmy Tata. After divorce from Sooni Tata, he married Swiss businesswoman Simone in 1955. Naval and Simone Tata have a son named Noel Tata.

Noel Tata is married to Aalu Mistry, daughter of Pallonji Mistry, the largest single shareholder of Tata Sons. The couple has three children: Leah Tata, Maya Tata, and Naval Tata.

Leah Tata, who is making her mark in the Tata Group, has a master’s degree in marketing from IE Business School, Spain and is currently working with the Tata Group. She started her career as an assistant sales manager at Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces in 2006 and is now working as the manager of development and expansion at Taj Hotels.
