Winter Session of Parliament Live Updates: The winter session of Parliament continues amid uproar and noise. While the opposition is cornering the government on issues like Adani and Sambhal, the government has started cornering the opposition through matters related to Rahul Gandhi and George Soares. On the occasion of Dr. BR Ambedkar’s Mahaparinirvan Diwas, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi reached Parliament with a copy of the Constitution.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said- I am proud of my brother

Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said, ‘People who can call Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi traitors, if the same people do the same with Rahul Gandhi, then there is nothing new in it. I am proud of my brother (Rahul Gandhi) and for my brother nothing is above the country. They do not have the courage to discuss Adani. What is the problem in discussing? Discussion is what happens in democracy.’ Congress MPs also staged a symbolic protest by wearing black masks.

At the same time, Congress MP Abhishek Manu Singhvi has denied the allegations. He said that the money found in the House is not his and he had taken only 500 rupee note to the House.

Uproar over finding bundles of notes in Rajya Sabha

There has been an uproar in the Rajya Sabha over the finding of bundles of notes. These bundles were allegedly found from the seat of a Congress MP on Thursday. These bundles were found during the investigation of the House after the proceedings. An inquiry is being demanded into this. The uproar continues in the Rajya Sabha on this issue. BJP MP JP Nadda said that this incident is not normal and it is an attack on the dignity of the House. The Chairman has said that the incident will be investigated.

The Speaker informed that the bundles of notes were found on seat number 222, which is currently allotted in the name of Congress MP Abhishek Manu Singhvi. Congress MP and party leader in the House Mallikarjun Kharge raised questions on the Speaker linking it to any one party. He said that when the incident is investigated, it will be clear who is guilty, but it is not right to directly accuse anyone right now. On this, the Speaker said that he has only given information about the seat number and has not linked it to any particular party.

Lok Sabha proceedings adjourned
Lok Sabha proceedings have been adjourned till 12 noon as soon as they started. In fact, as soon as the proceedings of the Lok Sabha started, the MPs started sloganeering, to which Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla expressed displeasure and said that the House will run with full decorum and rules. When the MPs protested, the Lok Sabha Speaker adjourned the proceedings of the Lok Sabha till 12 noon.
