PM Modi On The Sabarmati Report Film: PM Narendra Modi has praised the film ‘The Sabarmati Report’ made on the Godhra incident. While sharing the trailer of the film on X, PM Modi wrote that it is good that this truth is coming out, and that too in such a way that common people can see it.
Actually the film is based on the unfortunate incident of Sabarmati Express in Godhra, Gujarat, 22 years ago in February 2002. Vikrant Massey, Riddhi Dogra and Rashi Khanna have played the role of journalists in this film.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote in his post- Well said. It is good that this truth is coming out, and that too in a way that the common people can see it. A false story can last for a limited time. Ultimately, the facts always come out.
Actually, the trailer of the film ‘The Sabarmati Report’ which the PM has shared has been uploaded by a user named Alok Bhatt. PM Modi has reposted it. The post claimed why the film ‘The Sabarmati Report’ should be watched. Highlighting this, four points have been written in the post:-
- This effort is especially commendable because it brings out the important truth of one of the most shameful events in our recent history.
- The makers have handled the sensitive issue of the film with great sensitivity and have made it with equal honesty.
- On a larger issue, it is worth thinking deeply for all of us how the heinous incident of burning of passengers of Sabarmati Express was tried to be given a political color by a group and turned into a landmine, who saw it as a way to tarnish the image of a leader. Their ecosystem started planting one lie after another just to set their agenda of spreading lies. 4. Finally, the 59 innocent victims got a chance to speak out. Yes, as they say, truth always prevails. This film is truly a tribute to the 59 innocent men, women and children we lost on that February morning.
