PM Modi reaches America, meets the people of the Indian community, will have bilateral talks with President Biden at 10:30 pm

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in the US today for the 9th time in his 10-year tenure. He will meet President Biden in his home state of Delaware shortly.

Let us inform you the important Quad gathering will be held today at Archmere Academy in Claymont. It will include a leaders’ level meeting, Cancer Moonshot program and a private dinner. Archmere Academy is the private Catholic school from where President Joe Biden received his education.

Prime Minister’s statement before his visit to the United States

Prime Minister Modi said ahead of his visit to the United States that today, I am leaving on a three-day visit to the United States to attend the Quad Summit hosted by President Joe Biden in his hometown of Wilmington and to address the Future Summit at the United Nations General Assembly in New York. I look forward to joining my colleagues President Joe Biden, Prime Minister Albanese and Prime Minister Kishida for the Quad Summit. This forum has emerged as a leading grouping of like-minded countries working for peace, progress and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific region.

I will share the views of one-sixth of humanity

PM Modi said that my meeting with President Biden will allow us to review and identify new avenues to further deepen the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership for the benefit of our people and the global good. I look forward to engaging with the Indian diaspora and important American business leaders, who are key stakeholders and add vibrancy to the unique partnership between the world’s largest and oldest democracies. He said the Future Summit is an opportunity for the global community to chart a way forward for the betterment of humanity. I will share the views of one-sixth of humanity as they have the largest stake in the world in a peaceful and secure future.
