BJP leader Amit Malviya on Wednesday shared a video on his ‘X’ handle, in which former Union Minister Mani Shankar Aiyar has raised questions about the education of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. In this video, Mani Shankar Aiyar has said that Rajiv Gandhi also faced failure in Cambridge University, whereas passing there is considered easy. After this, he went to Imperial College, London, but he could not succeed there either. Mani Shankar Aiyar also questioned how a person with such a weak educational record was made the Prime Minister.
However, Rajiv Gandhi’s educational difficulties did not prevent him from entering politics. He became the Prime Minister of India after the assassination of his mother Indira Gandhi in 1984.
