Pragati College Chaubey Colony , Raipur Celebrates ‘World Mediation Day 2024 ‘

Trainer emphasizes the significance of meditation for mental and physical well-being on Saturday  December 21, 2024  in  Pragati College

World Meditation Day 2024 is celebrated to prioritise mental and physical health. We can incorporate meditation into our everyday lives by considering  its roots, recognising its importance and  adopt its health benefit

Raipur :A one-day “Meditation” program was observed on Saturday December 21 by the Education Department of Pragati College Chaubey Colony, Raipur , Chhattisgarh on the occasion of ‘World Meditation Day-2024’.

The chief trainer of the celebration was Vikas Rangwani (Art of Living teacher) and his colleagues, who taught about meditation and mental hygiene. Mental and physical activities were done before meditation so that meditation could be made more effective. After the activity, the process of meditation was started in which Pranayama, meditation to concentration thought process were taught. The benefits of meditation were elaborated about how mind is concentrated and positive thoughts flow.

The Principal of the College Dr. Soumya Nayyar , Administrator Ms. Jyoti Thakur, Head of the Education Department (HOD ) Dr. K. N. Gajpal and all the professors and students played a laudable role in making the celebration successful.

Let us inform you that the United Nations General Assembly declared December 21 to be World Meditation Day to increase awareness of meditation and its advantages while remembering that everyone has the right to the best possible level of physical and mental wealth
