Pragati College, Raipur , Choubey Colony organises Two-day Innovation Design and Entrepreneurship Development Training Program from today

Day one of Innovation Design and Entrepreneurship Development Training Program started with zeal and zest by the Department of Education and Journalism at Pragati College Raipur. The main objective of the program is to provide skill-based education to the students. The program started with the performing Puja of Goddess of knowledge Maa Saraswati with lighting of lamps.

The chief trainer of the program for the day , sculptor Shri Narsingh Farikar, gave a live depiction of the intricacies of making Ganesh idol from wet clay and gave information about different types of clays. During the training, the students learned how to mold raw materials like soil, clay, flour and ceramic into beautiful idols , which added a feather in a cap.


The program started by welcoming the chief trainer, sculptor Shri Narsingh Farikar with flower bouquet . On this occasion, the Head of the Department ( HOD) Education, Dr. K.N. Gajpal said that new employment opportunities always can be created through training programs for skill development among students along with studies.

A large number of students of Education and Journalism Department got trained in this employment oriented training program.

Pragati College Administrator Jyoti Thakur, Head of Journalism Department ( HOD ) Dr. Praveen Kumar Yadav, Mr. Kumar Bahukhandi, Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, Mrs. Gunjan Sharma, Mrs. Upasana Srivastava, Ms. Swaleha Nisa, Ms. Chinamai Das, Ms. Puja Sahu and all the teachers were present to encourage the students and to be a part of training program .

I Always Listen and Obey what my heart, my inner voice, my soul tells me. I prefer to be true to myself, even at the hazard of incurring the ridicule of others.
