Bihar: Election strategist and Jan Suraaj Party president Prashant Kishor, who is trying his luck in the Bihar assembly elections to be held next year, is making new announcements. The Jan Suraaj Party president, who announced the lifting of the liquor ban in Bihar within 1 hour of coming to power, has created trouble for BJP-JDU and RJD by making a new announcement. This announcement is related to the constitution of Jan Suraaj. PK has announced that Jan Suraaj will be the first party in the country to add a provision of ‘Right to Recall’ i.e. recall of elected representative in its constitution. A statement has been issued by Jan Suraaj on Wednesday ,September 18.

On September 15, Prashant Kishore had announced the lifting of the liquor ban in Bihar within 1 hour of coming to power in Bihar. Speaking to the media, Prashant Kishore, founder of Jan Suraj Party, said that his party would end the liquor ban within an hour of forming its government. Prashant Kishore said that the liquor ban has increased illegal domestic liquor distribution and deprived the state of potential excise revenue of Rs 20,000 crore. He also accused politicians and bureaucrats of benefiting from the illegal liquor trade

Liquor ban a sham by Nitish Kumar

Prashant Kishor said the liquor ban decision was a sham by Nitish Kumar. Kishor criticised the current liquor ban and claimed that it has proved ineffective. He said the liquor ban has led to a rise in illegal domestic liquor distribution and deprived the state of potential excise revenue of Rs 20,000 crore. He also accused politicians and bureaucrats of benefiting from the illicit liquor trade. Kishor also said that he believes in ‘politics of competence’ and will not hesitate to speak on liquor ban.

Jan Suraj will field 40 Muslim candidates in the assembly elections

Recently Prashant Kishore had announced from the stage that his party will give tickets to at least 40 Muslim candidates in the Bihar assembly elections to be held next year.
