Raipur : A general meeting of Raipur Zila Panchayat was held on Friday September 27 regarding the development of Raipur Zila Panchayat area. In which MP Brijmohan Agrawal gave instructions to run Science, Maths, Biology, Commerce and Arts streams in all schools. Agrawal instructed the officials to make a list of such schools where Arts and Commerce are not there, and ensure that classes of all subjects are run in the next academic session.
He also said that by organising alumni meets in schools, help should also be taken from the ex- students for the development of the school.
In the meeting, expressing displeasure over the loss caused to farmers by the poor quality seeds of the Seed Corporation, Mp Brijmohan Agarwal directed the departmental officers to provide immediate compensation to the farmers.
Along with this, the matter of illegal liquor sale was also raised by the Panchayat members, on which MP i Brijmohan Agarwal asked the Excise Officer to stop illegal liquor sale with the help of police and shift the shop near the school in Bhatgaon somewhere else.
On the complaint of the Panchayat members, Agarwal directed the officers of the Mining Department to stop illegal excavation and identify and fill the mines whose license has expired and plant trees there.
Aggarwal said that, to make Raipur District Panchayat area number one, an action plan will be made quickly so that people of other areas will also get inspired and develop their area.
The meeting was presided over by Zila Panchayat President Domeshwari Verma .
Besides minister Tank Ram Verma, MLA Guru Khuswant Saheb, MLA Anuj Sharma, District Panchayat CEO Vishwadeep, District Panchayat members, officials of Education, Health, Agriculture, Irrigation, Social Welfare, Women and Child Development, Excise Department and other dignitaries were present on the occasion .
