Science Department of Prgati College Celebrates a Freshers Party

Pragati College , Choubey Colony , Raipur organises fresher’s party every year. The main aim of this party is to give an affectionate welcome to new students. Such parties instill confidence in students and enhance their creativity. It is accompanied by so many exciting events and programs like ramp walk, traditional, fusion, and modern dances, breathtaking singing performances, and splendid decoration, thus making it a soulful experience.

Raipur : The Science Department of Pragati College , Choubey Colony celebrates Freshers Party on Thursday September 18, 2025 .

One of the best colleges “Pragati” in Capital City of Raipur , Chhattisgarh  explore the talent of the beginners and existing students through this fresher party. Moreover, these types of celebrations help juniors to form bonds and ensure good coordination with seniors. This leads to a better understanding among all and a feeling of co-operation is fostered.

The event began with a ramp walk by the new students to showcase their confidence on a themed outfit form a unforgettable and entertaining familiarity.

Amid a fun atmosphere and the beats of DJ music and drums, seniors from the Computer Science Department of Pragati College welcomed their juniors to their new campus to feel comfortable and prepared for success.

The welcome party, held on the Pragati College campus, began with Principal Dr. Soumya Nayyar offering prayers to Goddess Saraswati by lightinging the lamp .

The Principal while addressing the students advised to be disciplined and understand the value of time, focusing on achieving their goals, and wished them a bright future.

Mr. Mannu Ravani, Head of the Computer Science Department while imparting skills to the students taught how to complete tasks on time, according to their plans, and wished them a great future.

On this occasion, the juniors’ indulging in dance, songs, and humorous antics brought the seniors into raptures.

The highlight of the welcome party was the juniors’ ramp walk.

Amidst the fun, the Best Miss and Mr. Junior were selected.
