Shankaracharya expels Rahul Gandhi from Hinduism

Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati of Jyotirmath has given a big statement and has publicly declared to expel Rahul Gandhi from Hinduism. Shankaracharya said that follower of Sanatan Dharma are hurt by the statement given by Rahul Gandhi about Manusmriti in the Parliament.

Badrinath ( Uttarakhand):Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati of Jyotirmath has given a big statement about Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. He has said that Rahul Gandhi is no longer a part of Hinduism. He has announced to publicly expel him from Hinduism.

While talking to journalists at Shankaracharya Ashram in Badrinath, Swami Avimukteshwarananda said that all the followers of Sanatan Dharma are hurt by the statement made by Rahul Gandhi in the Parliament with reference to Manusmriti. Shankaracharya said that Rahul Gandhi says in the Parliament that the formula for saving a rapist is not written in the Constitution but in your book i.e. Manusmriti.

Notice was served to Rahul Gandhi

He told that a notice was served to Rahul Gandhi three months ago, in which he was asked to clarify where the things he said in Manusmriti are written? But even after so much time, neither Rahul Gandhi gave any answer nor apologised.

Shankaracharya said, “When a person continuously insults Hindu scriptures and avoids giving clarification, he cannot be given a place in Hinduism.” He clarified that now Rahul Gandhi should be opposed in temples and appealed to the priests not to allow worship him because he is no longer entitled to call himself a Hindu.

This statement of Shankaracharya has created a stir in political circles. Rahul Gandhi has been in controversies regarding his statements earlier also, but this is the first time that he is facing public boycott by a religious organisation.
