Raipur: State Administrative Service trainee officers paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Thursday September 25, 2025 at the Chief Minister’s residence office in Raipur. The delegation included 13 officers from the 2024 batch and one from the 2021 batch.

While having discussion with State Administrative Service officers CM Sai termed them as backbone of administration and expected them to play a crucial role to solve the public problems -Photo Credit-CG/PR

During his discussion with the trainee officers, Chief Minister Sai stated that State Administrative Service officers are the backbone of administration and play a crucial role in solving public problems. He said that along with administration, you should also be concerned about society as enlightened citizens. He urged everyone to contribute to building a better society. Chief Minister Sai congratulated all the officers for efficiently discharging their official duties.

Director of the Chhattisgarh Academy of Administration, T.C. Mahawar, informed Chief Minister Sai that the induction course for these officers, which began on April 7, 2025, is now coming to an end. After this, all these officers will serve as Deputy Collectors in various districts of the state, where they will understand the workings of various government departments.

Chief Minister Sai also inquired from the trainee officers about their training experiences. He said, “It is your good fortune to have the opportunity to serve the public as an officer of the State Administrative Service. This opportunity is not available to everyone. Take full benifits of this opportunity and discharge your administrative duties with loyalty and dedication.”

Chief Minister Sai said that the government’s job is to formulate policies for the public good, but the responsibility for their implementation rests with the officers of the Administrative Service. Chhattisgarh is a very prosperous state. It has abundant mineral and forest resources, fertile soil, and a strong power sector. Naxalism was a major obstacle to the state’s development, but it is now breathing its last. Our soldiers are fighting the Naxalites with full vigor.

The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah are committed to eradicating the Naxalite problem by March 31, 2026. Our brave soldiers are fighting bravely. With this goal achieved, Chhattisgarh will develop even faster. As State Administrative Service officers, your responsibilities will also increase. You will play a crucial role, especially in advancing the tribal community in Chhattisgarh.

Chief Minister Sai stated that bringing transparency to administration is our priority. Chhattisgarh is the first state to establish a Department of Good Governance . The e-office system has also been implemented in Chhattisgarh.

Chhattisgarh’s new industrial policy is attracting investors. So far, we have received investment proposals worth ₹7.5 lakh crore. You all will play a role in making Chhattisgarh a leading state.

During his discussion with the trainee officers, Chief Minister Sai stated that revenue matters directly impact the public. Sometimes, even a small initiative by administrative officers can provide significant relief.

The Chief Minister stated that our government is continuously striving for the timely resolution of revenue matters. Revenue processes are being simplified by making them online.

Present on this occasion were Pranav Singh, Joint Director of the Chhattisgarh Administrative Academy, and trainee officers of the State Administrative Service.
