Mahasamund: The disappearance of Pushpendra Thakur, a student of class 2 from Government Primary School Bihajhar in Bagbahara police station area of the district has created a stir in the area. The student’s family has registered a case of kidnapping in Bagbahara police station.
The police have registered a case against unknown persons under section 137 (2) BNS of kidnapping and are engaged in searching for the student. The student’s grandfather Sonu Thakur told the media that the school people informed that the child was studying in the school. A woman came and took the child away.
As per their information, I have registered a case in Bagbahara police station. At the same time, the school’s principal Pradeep Verma says that the child’s mother had come to meet. She had come once or twice before this too. We thought that she would meet normally, but the child’s mother took the child away without informing. After this, the child’s family was informed about this. I later came to know that the child’s mother lives in her maternal home.
