The matter of Mahtari Vandan Yojana amount being released in the name of former porn actress Sunny Leone in Chhattisgarh has gained momentum. While action has been taken against four employees in this case, on the other hand, actress actress Sunny Leone herself has reacted to this matter by posting on her social media pages .
Sunny Leone has said that her name and identity have been misused. In this case, Sunny Leone has spoken of full cooperation in the investigation. Posting on Instagram, Sunny Leone has written that it is unfortunate that an incident of fraud has happened in Chhattisgarh regarding my name and identity.
The Mahtari Vandan Yojana has been created with the aim of empowering women and benefiting them, but some people are misusing it. I strongly condemn such an incident, and also assure that if the agency needs any kind of help in the investigation, it will cooperate fully.
What is the whole matter
An application was submitted in the name of Sunny Leone and her husband Johnny Sins for Mahtari Vandan Yojana in Talur village of Bastar district. This application was verified by the supervisor and Anganwadi worker and forwarded further. The application was registered with the ID of Anganwadi worker Devmati Joshi. The accused named Virendra Joshi who had submitted a fake application and bank account in the name of Sunny has been arrested. Action was taken against four officers and employees in this case.
