The festival of Vijayadashami on October 2, 2025 witnessed the victory of development and faith over violence and delusion – Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai

Raipur:The festival of Vijayadashami, symbolising the triumph of righteousness and justice, also symbolised the historic victory of development and good governance over violence and delusion in Chhattisgarh this year. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai congratulated the security forces on the surrender of 103 Naxalites in Bijapur, stating that this step marks a decisive milestone towards a peaceful and prosperous future for the state.

Chief Minister Sai said that the state government’s “Surrender and Rehabilitation Policy 2025” and “Niyad Nella Naar Yojana” have ignited a spark of faith and hope in the hearts of people misled by the delusions of red terror. Inspired by the “Puna Margem Campaign,” a total of 103 Naxalites have surrendered in Bijapur. These include 49 Naxalites who had a total bounty of up to ₹1,630,000 declared on their heads.

The Chief Minister further said that each surrendered individual has been provided an incentive of ₹50,000 for a new beginning. Besides under the Naxal eradication policy, they are being given the opportunity to live a respectable life and join the mainstream of society. More than 1,890 Maoists have surrendered so far, a direct testament to the effectiveness of the government’s policies and the public’s trust.

Chief Minister Sai stated that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the Chhattisgarh government is committed to completely eradicating Naxalism by March 31, 2026, and providing a safe, respectable, and bright future to those who surrender.

He added that this change is not limited to Bastar alone, but is a strong step towards a peaceful, prosperous, and developed future for the entire state of Chhattisgarh, CM said .
