Dhamtari: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, who reached the Samadhan camp in Dhamtari today amidst drizzling rain, gave the gift of development works worth Rs 213 crore on the demand of the citizens.

He approved the construction of a high-tech bus stand, a state-of-the-art auditorium and three roads. Today, the Sushasan Festival, which was being run in the state for the last 54 days in a mission mode to solve the problems of the public, concluded today after this Samadhan camp and review meeting organized at the old Krishi Upaj Mandi premises of Dhamtari.

Chief Minister Sai took information about the ground status of the schemes from the common people in the Samadhan camp of Dhamtari and personally observed the process of resolution of applications.

While inspecting various government stalls, he instructed the officials to ensure quick and satisfactory resolution of the applications received. Despite the drizzling rain, the enthusiasm of the crowd was worth seeing. Thousands of citizens enthusiastically welcomed the Chief Minister with garlands of lotus flowers.

Big announcements in Dhamtari

On the occasion of Sushasan Festival, Chief Minister Sai gave the gift of works worth Rs 213 crore, fulfilling the long-awaited demands of Dhamtari district. He announced Rs 18 crore for a high-tech bus stand in Dhamtari, Rs 10 crore 50 lakh for a fully equipped auditorium, Rs 69 crore for construction of a 5 km long four-lane road from Sihawa Chowk to Koliari, Rs 56 crore for a four-lane road from Ratnabandha to Mujgahan and Rs 60 crore for renovation and strengthening of the main road from Dhamtari to Nagari.

Sushasan means Good Governence

While addressing the Samadhan camp, the Chief Minister said that good governance means good governance. ‘Sushasan Tihar’ is a festival organised to resolve your problems. In the first phase of this Maha Abhiyan which started from April 8, applications were taken from villagers in every district of the state, in the second phase, action was taken on the applications and in the third phase, information about the resolution of applications was given to the beneficiaries by organising Samadhan camps between 08 to 10 Gram Panchayats.

During Sushasan Tihar, feedback was taken from the people in the village Chaupal by suddenly reaching the village and their problems were resolved as far as possible. During this, surprise inspection of development works was also done. The Chief Minister said that more than 40 lakh applications have been received across the state, out of which 95 percent have been resolved.

This success is a proof that the administration is responsible and sensitive towards the public.

The Chief Minister said that the guarantee of Prime Minister Narendra Modi means the guarantee of fulfillment. Taking care of the 18 lakh poor who were deprived of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana during the tenure of the previous government, our government approved all these houses in the very first cabinet. Till now, lakhs of beneficiaries have been given Grihapravesh.

Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji inaugurated 3 lakh houses in a program organized in Bilaspur and Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan inaugurated more than 51 thousand houses in a program in Ambikapur.

Chief Minister Sai said that under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, 15,000 special houses have been approved for surrendered Maoists and victim families in Naxal-affected areas.

Along with this, 32,000 additional houses have been approved for special tribes Korwa, Pahadi Korwa, Abujhmariya etc. All these initiatives show that the government is committed to providing the benefits of schemes to the last person of the society.

Referring to the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, the Chief Minister said that more than 70 lakh mothers have got its benefit.

He said that if the name of any woman is missing or the name has to be updated after marriage, then its facility will also be given in future. The government is working to connect everyone with the scheme with full sensitivity. He said that the elderly are getting benefits under the ‘Mukhyamantri Ramlala Darshan Yojana’ and ‘Mukhyamantri Teerth Yatra Yojana’.

Know the reality of the schemes

Chief Minister Sai interacted with the villagers who reached the Dhamtari Samadhan Camp and took feedback of the schemes. Sudha Markande of Jodhapur Dakbungla Ward, a beneficiary benefited under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, told the Chief Minister that she has got a permanent house and now she is not afraid of water leakage and insects etc.

Lakhpati Didi Santoshi Hirwani told that she is doing business of poultry farming as well as fish farming, animal husbandry, mushroom production etc. for livelihood, which is giving her an additional income of 12 thousand rupees. Vedprakash Sahu, who teaches karate and dancing at Kala Kendra, said that he got employment opportunity after the establishment of Kala Kendra.

Ghanram Rajwade, a beneficiary of Ayushman Vaya Vandan Card, is getting the facility of free treatment through the card. Revenue Minister and Minister in charge of Dhamtari district Tankaram Verma, Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap, MP Mahasamund Roopkumari Choudhary, MLA Kurud Ajay Chandrakar, District Panchayat Chairman Arun Sarva, Mayor Ramu Rohra, Chairman of Other Backward Classes Commission Nehru Nishad, former MLAs Mrs. Ranjana Sahu, Inder Chopra, Pinky Shah, Shravan Markam along with Additional Chief Secretary and Secretary in charge Renu Pillai, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Subodh Kumar Singh, Secretary to the Chief Minister Basavaraju S., Commissioner, Raipur Division Mahadev Kanware, Collector Abinash Mishra, Superintendent of Police Suraj Singh Parihar along with a large number of public representatives and citizens were present in the program.
