Raipur : Senior BJP leader of Chhattisgarh and Raipur MP Brijmohan Agarwal has been nominated as a member of two permanent committees of Parliament. An order was issued in this regard yesterday on Thursday September 26 . Agarwal has already been made a member of the most important Estimates Committee of the Lok Sabha. In such a situation, Agarwal being included in three important committees of the House shows that his 34 years of experience as a cabinet minister for a state would be used in central schemes.
According to the order issued, Brijmohan Agrawal has been nominated as a member in the Chemicals and Fertilizers Committee and the Standing Committee on Education, Women and Child Development, Youth and Sports.
According to the information, these standing committees are such committees formed within the Parliament which study in depth the matters related to a particular subject or ministry. These committees study the bills introduced by the government in detail and give suggestions for improving them. The Standing Committee of Parliament also plays its role in removing the deadlock between the ruling and opposition on any issue or bills.
Apart from the above committees, the Estimates Committee in which Agrawal is a member aims to examine the functioning of government ministries and departments in terms of expenditure and use of funds. The committee also suggests alternative policies for efficiency and economy in administration.
In such a situation, it can be said that the central government wants to make good use of 40 years of Ministerial experience of Raipur MP Brijmohan Agarwal by giving him place in various committees.
