Trouble in real life of ‘Anupama’, Rupali Ganguly filed a defamation case against her step daughter

Mumbai : Anupama serial actress Rupali Ganguly has filed a defamation case against her stepdaughter Isha Verma. After this, Isha has now given her first reaction on this. Isha has been coming out on social media for the last several days and making many serious allegations against Rupali and her father Ashwin Verma. In such a situation, on Monday, Rupali filed a defamation case of Rs 50 crore.

Rupali Ganguly’s stepdaughter Isha Verma’s Instagram account had 15.8K followers and it was a verified account. But earlier her account was visible to everyone. Now she has made it private. Isha recently shared a video in which she cried. She alleged that she does not feel safe around Rupali Ganguly. Rupali filed a lawsuit on Monday November 11 , 2024 with the help of Sana Rais Khan. The lawsuit seeks damages of Rs 50 crore, stating that Isha’s public claims have unfairly tarnished Rupali’s personal and professional reputation. Isha also mentioned Rupali’s son Rudransh in her video and apologized. This is why Rupali decided to take legal action.

Rupali files defamation case

The statement said, ‘We have issued a defamation notice to Rupali’s stepdaughter in response to her false and damaging statements, as Rupali Ganguly is strictly against the use of defamatory tactics for publicity. Isha’s allegations are baseless and have damaged Rupali’s reputation.
