Tulsi Gabbard surprised everyone by speaking on India’s role in terrorist Pannu and Nijjar case, also gave a statement on PM Modi-Putin

Tulsi Gabbard

When Tulsi Gabbard was asked a question related to Khalistani terrorist Pannu, she said that credible allegations of any foreign country directing killings against American citizens, especially on American soil, are a matter of serious concern and should be investigated. And this report should be submitted to the President.

Tulsi Gabbard, one of the major appointments of the Trump government, has surprised and disappointed millions of her Indian fans with one of her statements. President Donald Trump has nominated Tulsi Gabbard as the Director of National Intelligence. The CIA and the FBI work under National Intelligence.

Tulsi Gabbard appeared before the US Senate on Thursday. Permission has to be taken from the Senate for the appointment of senior officials in America. Officers nominated by the President appear before the Senate. During this, the members of the Senate ask tough and sharp questions to the appointed members. The nominated officer has to satisfy the members of the Senate with his answer. Only after this the Senate approves these appointments. This is a unique system of check and balance.

When Tulsi Gabbard appeared before the Senate, Democrat and Republican MPs asked her sharp questions. During this, Tulsi Gabbard said that a foreign country giving instructions to kill American citizens is a matter of serious concern and it should be investigated.

Gabbard was also asked questions related to the allegations leveled by the Canadian government against India in the murder of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar.

The allegations are a matter of serious concern

It is worth noting that 43-year-old Hindu American Tulsi Gabbard is a former member of the Democratic Congress from the US state of Hawaii, who ran for her party’s presidential nomination in 2020, but left the party in 2024 and supported Trump.

A Senate member asked Tulsi Gabbard that the US government has alleged that ‘an official of the Indian government’ had directed the killing of a Sikh activist who is an American citizen in New York City in the spring of 2023, what do you have to say on this?

Senate members further raised the question, “In addition, Canadian authorities have accused the Indian government of killing a Canadian citizen and Sikh activist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada in June 2023. What are your views on these allegations that the Indian government is targeting Sikh activists in Canada and the United States?”

Let us inform you that the Indian government has denied both these allegations. The first allegation is related to the alleged attempts to kill terrorist Gurpatwant Singh. The Indian government has banned its organization. The second case is related to the murder of Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada.

Tulsi Gabbard responded to these questions of the Senate in a slightly different way from India’s stand. In her written reply to the Senate’s ‘Select Committee on Intelligence’, she said, “India is an important economic and security partner in the Indo-Pacific region. Credible allegations of any foreign country directing killings against American citizens, especially on American soil, are a matter of serious concern and should be investigated.” Tulsi did not stop here.

She further said, the results of this investigation and intelligence should be given to the President and policymakers so that they can make the best decisions regarding the alleged incident and its impact on bilateral relations.” India has rejected the allegations India has denied all the allegations of the US government and called it baseless and inappropriate. But Tulsi Gabbard has not mentioned this in her reply. Taking these allegations seriously, India has formed a high committee to investigate the matter. The US government has arrested a person in this case. India’s Foreign Ministry has said that the accused person is no longer an employee of the Government of India.
