Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) has called for Maharashtra Bandh on Saturday August 24 . He has also made it clear that the bandh will be only till 2 pm. The party is appealing for a bandh against the crimes against women and girls. There are chances that Mahavikas Aghadi partners Congress and Nationalist Congress Party (SP) may join Shiv Sena (UBT) in this.
Uddhav Thackeray said, “Many people have started feeling that girls are not safe in schools. Not only Mahavikas Aghadi, but all citizens will participate in tomorrow’s bandh. The bandh will continue till 2 pm. Bus and train services should also be closed during tomorrow’s bandh. You may belong to any religion or caste, but make this bandh successful for the safety of your daughters and sisters.”
He has made it clear that transport services, shops and establishments will remain closed. Whereas, ambulance, fire brigade etc. services will continue. Who is IAS Govind Mohan? Who will take over the responsibility of the new Home Secretary.. Uddhav Thackeray has also warned that the ruling Mahayuti will not put pressure on people and shop owners to keep everything running.
He has demanded withdrawal of the case registered against the protesters of Badlapur. A few days ago, a case of sexual harassment of 2 girls in a school in Badlapur came to light, after which the anger of the general public flared up. The protesters protested from the streets to the railway tracks. Uddhav Thackeray told Congress-Pawar; Decide on CM candidate, even if you don’t announce it..
