Meerut Police launched a massive search operation to catch the accused. After continuous investigation and raids, Meerut Police surrounded him and he was killed in an encounter.
Meerut Police of Uttar Pradesh killed Naeem, a criminal with a reward of Rs 50,000, in an encounter. Naeem had brutally murdered 5 members of his stepbrother’s entire family. The couple, their one-year-old daughter and three other girls were involved in this tragic incident. After the murder, Naeem locked the house and fled.
This horrific incident came to light on January 9, when the police received information about the murder. Investigation revealed that Naeem had committed this heinous crime after hatching a complete conspiracy. After absconding, he kept hiding in many places including Maharashtra and Delhi by changing his disguise again and again. Many criminal cases were registered against him in these states as well.
The police launched a large-scale campaign to catch Naeem. After continuous investigation and raids, Meerut Police surrounded him and Naeem was killed in an encounter.

Recently, the murder of five members of a family in Meerut, UP, created a stir in the area. The bodies of a husband, wife and their three daughters were found in a house in Sohail Garden in Lisadi Gate area. The deceased included husband Moin, wife Asma and their three daughters Afsa (8), Aziza (4) and Adiba (1). For information, Moin worked as a mechanic. Neighbours said that the main gate of the house was locked and there was no movement from inside.
When the police was informed on suspicion, the door was broken and looked inside. The police found the bodies of Moin and Asma lying on the ground, while the bodies of the three girls were recovered from the bed box. The police found the body of a one-year-old girl in a sack, she too was murdered and hidden in the box.
