Farman—the son of Jafer, a resident of Palda village—married Monalisa on March 11; he runs a studio in Mumbai. However, the subsequent investigation revealed that Monalisa is a minor. Consequently, an FIR was registered against Farman at the Maheshwar Police Station in Madhya Pradesh. His father stated that by marrying a girl from a different religion, he has tarnished the family’s honor. “We will not support him. Had he married a girl from our own community, the family would have stood by him under any circumstances.”
