Mumbai attack accused Tahawwur Rana is trying his best to stop his extradition to India. Now he has made a last move to stop extradition and has appealed to US Chief Justice John Roberts. It is worth noting that Tahawwur Rana had earlier appealed to US Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan, but Justice Elena rejected Tahawwur Rana’s petition.

In his appeal, Tahawwur Rana has appealed to stop his extradition to India. Actually, Tahawwur Rana is afraid of extradition to India. That is why when he appealed to Justice Elena, he said that he could be tortured in India and due to this he would not be able to survive for long.

Tahawwur Rana said that he is a Muslim and of Pakistani origin. He has also served in the Pakistani army in the past. Due to this, he can be tortured in India. The Mumbai attack conspirator also said that his health is not good and he is suffering from many serious diseases. In such a situation, he can be tortured and killed in India. It is noteworthy that in February, US President Donald Trump had said that Tahawwur Rana would be extradited to India.

Tahawwur Rana is believed to be close to David Coleman, the terrorist convicted in the 2008 Mumbai attack. Tahawwur Rana is one of the main conspirators of the Mumbai attack. Tahawwur Rana is accused of working in collaboration with Lashkar-e-Taiba and Pakistani intelligence agency ISIS.
