India’s Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has reacted for the first time on Operation Sindoor carried out by the Indian Army in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir in response to the Pahalgam terror attack. On Wednesday May 7, 2025 , while inaugurating 50 BRO (Border Roads Organisation) infrastructure projects in 6 states and 2 union territories, he said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Indian Army has made the country proud.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said, ‘As you all know, last night the Indian forces have created a new history by displaying their valour and courage. The Indian army has acted with accuracy, vigilance and sensitivity. The targets we had set have been destroyed with precision as per the planned plan. The Indian army has shown sensitivity by not allowing any civilian location to be affected at all. That is, the army has shown a kind of precision, vigilance and humanity.
