CM Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the Ramayan fair in Ayodhya. On this occasion, he said that without the protection of goons, the Samajwadi Party suffers like a fish without water.
Ayodhya; CM Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the four-day Ramayan fair in Ramnagari. From 5th to 8th December,2024, the confluence of music and spirituality will be seen in the Ram Katha Park situated on the banks of Saryu. The CM reached Ayodhya in the morning. During this, he also visited Hanumangarhi and Ramlala’s court. The CM is also likely to attend the wedding celebrations going on in the Janaki Mahal Trust.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Ayodhya is the first of the holy places of Sanatan Dharma. Ayodhya has paved the way for world humanity for thousands of years. Ayodhya is a land where no one can dare to wage war.
He said that in January last year, after 500 years of struggle, Ramlala was re-established by PM Modi. The PM had expressed his affection towards the citizens of Ayodhya. Ayodhya did not do justice to him. But, Shri Ram gave every kind of protection.
Ramayan Mela was started in 1982
CM Said that Ayodhya is progressing culturally in the world. People used to sit in front of the TV for an hour to watch the Ramayan serial. Dr. Lohia had started Ramayan Utsav programs in the country. Those who do not have devotion towards Ram and Janaki in their hearts should give up.
The CM said that Dr. Lohia was an idealist in politics. Samajwadi Party is nepotistic. Without the protection of criminals and goons, they suffer like a fish without water. They will do politics in the name of Lohia but do not believe in his ideals.
Ashish Mishra, convener of Ramayan Mela Committee, said that like every year, this year too, not only religious programs will be held in Ramayan Mela, but a wonderful confluence of Indian culture and traditions will be seen. There will be presentation of stories, discourses, cultural programs, folk songs, dance dramas etc. for four days in the Ramayan Mela. More than 20 artists from different districts of the Culture Department will give their performances. Along with this, Ram Katha will also be preached by different story tellers for four days.

CM said that remember what Babur’s men did in Ayodhya Kumbh 500 years ago? Same thing happened in Sambhal. Same thing is happening in Bangladesh. All three have the same nature and DNA. If someone believes that this is happening in Bangladesh, then the same elements are waiting to hand you over here too.
Yogi said that they have made complete arrangements to break social unity. Some of the people who are saying these things have property abroad. If any crisis comes here, they will run away. They will leave others to die here.
On the idea of eminent socialist thinker Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia, the organisation of Ramayana fair was started first in Chitrakoot and later in Ayodhya. In Congress rule, the then CM Shripati Mishra inaugurated the Ramayana fair of Ayodhya in 1982. For this, the Ramayana Mela Committee was given the responsibility of organising the arrangements and sermons of saints etc. Officially, since then, the Culture Department has been taking the responsibility of presenting cultural programs and Ramlilas from its funds.
