This program is being organized on ‘National Youth Day’. Swami Vivekananda was born on 12 January 1863 in Kolkata. His birthday is celebrated as National Youth Day. PM Modi had said on Saturday that he would spend the whole day with ‘his young friends’ and they would discuss various topics related to the creation of a ‘developed India’.
New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at Bharat Mandapam on Sunday January 12, 2025 . Here he met with the participants of the ‘Developed India Young Leaders Dialogue’. The program is being organised as part of his efforts to bring one lakh youth with no political connections into politics. This program is being organised on National Youth Day, which is celebrated on the occasion of Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary.
During the program, PM Modi is trying to know the views of the youth on the road map of developed India by 2047. In the National Youth Festival organized at Bharat Mandapam, the Prime Minister will also see presentations on 10 topics like women empowerment, developed India, digital India, excellence in sports with the youth. The program includes his vision for developed India in 2047 on 10 topics of nation building. It can be called a school of politics for the youth.
Through this, the government’s emphasis is to create young leaders who move forward in politics by giving prominence to the vision of the country’s development. This Yuva Mahotsav has been presented by the youth for the youth with a youth resolution. This is not just an event but a campaign, to empower the youth, their leadership potential, practical ideas which are in line with the vision of a developed India. The youth will be given certificates according to their merit in the festival. This time the National Youth Festival has been a symbol of cultural exchange and youth energy, it is also being included in the vision of nation building and development.
PM Modi said in a post on social media that he will discuss various topics related to the objective of building a developed India. He said that the youth he will meet have a lot of passion for science, technology, innovation, culture and other things. The statement said that the objective of the event is to break the 25-year-old tradition of organizing the National Youth Festival in a traditional way. It is about involving one lakh youth without any political affiliation in politics and bringing the ideas of a developed India to reality.
Earlier, on the second day of the Developed India Youth Leaders Dialogue, eminent personalities from various fields told the youth gathered at Bharat Mandapam that technology is a great need today. Therefore, they have to constantly upgrade themselves in it. During the discussion on the roadmap of Developed India, the youth were also called upon to make India the startup capital.
