The announcement of the 70th National Film Awards has been completed. During the felicitation ceremony organised at the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the names of the winners were announced one by one and President Draupadi Murmu honored them accordingly.

Haryanvi film Fauja won awards
- Pawan Raj Malhotra won the Best Actor in Supporting Role award for his work in the Haryanvi film ‘Fauja’. Director Pramod Kumar won the award for Best Debut Film Direction for the Haryanvi film Fauja at the 70th National Film Awards. Vishal Bhardwaj won the award for Best Music Direction for the non-feature film Fursat.
- South’s dominance seen in National Awards
The name of the winner of the 70th National Film Awards has been announced. This time the dominance of South is being seen in the National Awards. From Best Actor to Best Film, all are from South Cinema. Not only this, South has also won in many other categories. Veteran actress Neena Gupta won the Best Supporting Actress award for her work in the film ‘Unchai’. Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’ won the Best Film award in AVGC (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming and Comic).
